Longtion SlideShow Pro

Longtion Slideshow Pro is an application that allows you to create slideshows using your pictures or photos.

The application is simple, but not easy to use. It offers no wizard or tabs to guide you throughout the steps of the process, so you may feel lost.

Once you've added the pictures (the only easy part in the process), you will notice two tabs on the right side of the screen: Current Slide and Slideshow. From there, you can customize the whole slideshow or certain slides. You can customize the transition effects, add text, sounds, and links, among other things. If you want, instead of customizing slide by slide, you can apply the properties to all slides and set random transition effects. At the bottom of the screen, you will find some frames and back images to add to your pictures, but they are not very attractive. I also couldn't find an option to add music.

When you are done, the result can be published as a shockwave flash file, an executable file, an html file, an autorun cd/dvd with executable file, and an autorun cd/dvd with html file.
In short, Longtion Slideshow Pro definitely isn't one of the best applications I've seen for creating slideshows. The user interface is not intuitive, so beginners may get lost easily. It also looks rather old and not attractive.
